The small and cosy Edward Hotel is designed for the highly demanding visitor who enjoys history, comfort and tranquillity. The hotel is located in the heart of the historical part of Olomouc, in the Universita Street No. 10, It was carefully restored from more than 600-year-old burgher house, where various craftsmen and merchants lived. The house owns the historical right to brew beer and serve wine, a privilege that has never been revoked. On the house there is a shield with a unicorn, which is famous as a symbol of strength, life, happiness, beauty and love, abundance and virginity, everything that is contained in this symbol we would like to offer you in this house.

University Street itself is lined with the buildings of the Jesuit Convent and the second oldest university in the Czech lands, the Cyril and Methodius Theological Faculty. On foot you can easily reach the Upper and Lower Squares with the picturesque Town Hall, the astronomical clock and the dominant Column of the Holy Trinity – a UNESCO monument. The town boasts a number of Baroque churches, fountains, narrow streets and the remains of the old town fortress.

The hotel offers accommodation in double and single rooms, which are set in the carefully restored interior of an old house. The rooms are equipped with antique furniture and accessories, including original atypical bathrooms and toilets. Visitors to the hotel are provided with all services appropriate to the classification of the hotel, while individual approach and customer satisfaction are ensured. In addition to accommodation, the hotel oƯers breakfast and simple refreshments in the small Renaissance restaurant and conservatory. We would like to oƯer our visitors our facilities for various festive gatherings such as anniversaries, graduations, weddings, etc. For these occasions we are able to provide catering for our guests. The historic environment is complemented by more modern things that a guest needs for a happy stay, elevator, TV, WIFI, top hotel cosmetics, safe for storing valuables, etc. Parking for guests is reserved for a fee in the parking house.
